Lucky got his name from his birth. His dam is a maiden jennet. I had a tree fall on my barn early in the morning and it scared her. It was pouring down rain and I could tell she had foaled. No baby. I went out to find it NO BABY. Looked for 2.5 hours I finally had to through the towel in. The next morning standing in the barn was mom and baby. He was bucking and jumping around and I was so happy. No idea where she had hide him but he was just fine.
I figured I was Lucky he found me.
